Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday 11th May 2010 at 7.30 pm
in the Village Hall

B Best and J Henderson elected M Fairman to stand as temporary Chair in the absence of M Barkas

2 Minutes: The minutes of the previous AGM held on Tuesday 12th May 2009 were approved and signed by the acting chairman.

Peter Bellamy thanked Mike Barkas in his absence for his Chair throughout the last year.
5 Book-keeper’s report:
Reconciliation of Bank accounts at 31.03.10 and Income/Expenditure 1st April 2009 to 31st March 2010 were presented and explained.
Keith Evans stated that a total of approximately £3,300 was spent on the windows, £500 approximately on painting and £450 spent on new chairs. Income from investments has been steady given the financial crisis facing the country. Funds raising activities for the last year proved successful. The financial gesture from the Church is much appreciated.
Open forum:
Playpark
Liz Ross from the Parish Council explained the future situation regarding Playpark with a view to fielding ideas and possible financial assistance from 2011. This in itself raised many questions and many ideas and it was agreed that an Extraordinary Meeting of the Village Hall Committee would need to be held to discuss this matter in more detail. This Meeting was agreed for the 7th June 2010.
