HOLNE PARISH COUNCIL
The Annual Meeting of Holne Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 3 May 2006 in Holne Village Hall
The Meeting will begin after both the public forum at 7:30 pm and brief reports from county and district councillors
A G E N D A
• Apologies for absence
• To elect a Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the next eyar, and to arrange for the Chairman to sign a Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
• To consider, amend as agreed by the Council and approve the minutes of the meeting of 5 April 2006. (An amendment to 0604.04 is required so that it reads …"Cllr Arrowsmith declared a personal and prejudicial interest in item 8 as residing in a property where an application for conversion to full residential use of attached holiday accommodation would shortly be made..")
• To elect Committees to serve the Council for the next year.
• To confirm the Clerk as the Proper Officer and Responsible Financial Officer of the Council
• Declarations of Interest: Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interest relating to any agenda item at this stage in the meeting, but may do so also at any time during the meeting, if they become aware they may have such an interest in a subject being discussed.
• Planning matters including any applications received in time for the meeting : none to date
• To hear the Clerk's financial report & to approve the following payments:
a) St Mary the Virgin Holne PCC for Maintenance of Churchyard £200.00
• To discuss proposals made at the Annual Parish Meeting that the Council suggest to Jackie Parsons that some of the SEARCH money be used to renovate the seats in the Parish, and to plant trees in the Parish.
• To discuss a proposal that the Parish Council might acquire a shredder that could be hired by local residents.
• To hear a report from the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee and to make any resolutions necessary as a result of this.
• Clerk's or Councillors' reports on matters authorised by the Council at previous meetings not otherwise on this Agenda: parking places at Village Shop; Church Path gateway; Dartmoor Driving Planning Status.
• Correspondence not otherwise listed on this Agenda for information or inclusion in the Agenda of the next meeting: none to date except for information
• Chairman's Urgent Business Items for action by the Clerk if covered by delegated powers or for inclusion on the Agenda of the next meeting
