    <strong>HOLNE PARISH COUNCIL
        <br />
        The Annual Meeting of Holne Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 9 May 2006 in Holne Village Hall.
    The Meeting will begin after both the public forum at 8:00 pm and brief reports from county and district councillors</strong>

        A G E N D A
        <br />
    </strong>1 Signing of Declarations of Acceptance of Office by those Councillors
    who have been elected unopposed to the Parish Council.
    <br />
    2 Election of Chairman and Signing by her/him of a Declaration of Acceptance of
    Office
    <br />
    3 Apologies for absence
    <br />
    4 To consider, amend as agreed by the Council and approve the minutes of the meeting
    of Wednesday 1 April
    <br />
    5 To co-opt up two councillors who, if present, will be required to sign a declaration
    of acceptance of office so they can take part in the following items (NB Belinda
    Owens has indicated her intention to stand for co-option, but has sent her apologies
    for this meeting)
    <br />
    6 Declarations of Interest: Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial
        interest relating to any agenda item at this stage in the meeting, but may do so
        also at any time during the meeting, if they become aware they may have such an
        interest in a subject being discussed.
    <br />
    7 Planning matters including any applications received in time for the meeting:
    0347/07 New entrance, parking and garage at Hazelwood for Mr J Mathys, The Pottery,
    Moorhaven, Ivybridge
    <br />
    8 To hear the Clerk’s financial report, approve the accounts for 2006/7, confirm
    the Clerk as proper officer, appoint an internal auditor, &amp; approve the following payments:
    <br />
    a) St Mary the Virgin Holne PCC for Maintenance of the Churchyard (first half Annual
    grant) £200.00
    <br />
    b) Mr P Owen - replacement cheque for flailing hedge of Play Park £20.56
    <br />
    c) Community First for insurance £202.49
    <br />
    9 To complete, if agreed, nomination papers for parish members of the DNPA and for
    the County Committee of Devon Association of Parish Councils 
    <br />
    10 To hear a report from the Affordable Housing Working Party and to make resolutions
    necessary as a result of this: to authorise the Clerk to write to Buckfastleigh
    West Parish Council to confirm its involvement in the project and to request that
    Sue Colwill's place on the Working Party is confirmed as being to represent Buckfastleigh
    West PC (The following to be discussed "in camera" Council may wish to delay this
    until the end of the meeting): to authorise the Clerk to write to DNPA on one of
    the potential plots of land for possible building of affordable housing. To discuss
    also the need for more members of the working party and how to recruit these.

    11 Clerk’s or Councillors’ reports on matters authorised by the Council at previous meetings not otherwise on this Agenda: Silvanus and Play Park hedge (Cllr Arrowsmith)

        Correspondence not otherwise listed on this Agenda for information or inclusion
