HOLNE PARISH COUNCIL
The Regular Monthly Meeting of Holne Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 3 October 2007 in Holne Village Hall
The Meeting will begin after both the public forum at 8:00 pm and brief reports from county and district councillors
A G E N D A
1. Apologies for absence.
2. To consider, amend as agreed by the Council and approve the minutes of the meetings
of 4 July, 8 August and 5 September
3.
Declarations of Interest: Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial
interest relating to any agenda item at this stage in the meeting, but may do so
also at any time during the meeting, if they become aware they may have such an
interest in a subject being discussed.
4. Planning matters including any applications received in time for the meeting
: 0701/07 Replacement of bottom step with stone step and ventilation of existing
timber staircase, plus opening up of fireplace with removal of recent infill at
2 Michelcombe Cottage for Mrs C Irish To report the result of a report to the enforcement
officer of work at 1 Michelcombe Cottages and his subsequent responses to the owner.
Any applications received between 20 September and 1 October will be posted on the
Notice Board on Tuesday 2 October.
5. To hear the Clerk’s financial report & to approve the following payments:
a) Mrs J M Radford salary July- October incl £220.00 b) Mrs J M Radford expenses for the
same period (telephone £13.87 + £2.18 VAT, £30 internet access) £46.05 c)
Holne Village Hall Management Committee rent for use of Hall £22.50 d) Post Office
Counters for stamps £24.00 e) Miss R Roberts mileage to Parke for Joint Forum 24
miles @ 40 p per mile £9.60 f) Mrs G Gray expenses for Affordable Housing Group invoice awaited
6. To hear a report from the Affordable Housing Working Party and to make any resolutions
as a result of this.
7. To approve the appointment of the successful candidate for the post of Clerk
and Responsible Officer
8 To discuss the draft planning protocol for the Council and approve it as agreed.
9. To discuss how the Council wishes to act in response to the letter from DCC Rights
of Way Department on the possible creation of restricted byways in the Parish
10 Clerk’s or Councillors’ reports on matters authorised by the Council at previous meetings not otherwise on this Agenda
