HOLNE PARISH COUNCIL

The Regular Monthly Meeting of Holne Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 5 March 2008 in Holne Village Hall
The Meeting will begin after both the public forum at 8:00 pm and brief reports from county and district councillors

A G E N D A

1Apologies for absence.

2. To consider, amend as agreed by the Council and approve the minutes of the meeting of 6th February 2008.

3. Declarations of Interest: Members are invited to declare any personal or prejudicial interest relating to any agenda item at this stage in the meeting, but may do so also at any time during the meeting, if they become aware they may have such an interest in a subject being discussed.

 4. Planning matters including any applications received in time for the meeting : to include discussions following on from last meeting - footpath number 1, leat coverage (repairs of slabs), works at Venford Reservoir (to include proposed road closure during August and September), Church Park House, Littlecombe Farm, Village Farm, Church House Inn and Woodland Grant Scheme at Littlecombe Farm. 4(a) Planning Application Ref 0125/08 : Riding arena for private use at Littlecombe.

 5. To hear the Clerk’s financial report & to approve the following payments:
a) Holne Village Hall Management Committee – rent – February 2008 meeting £ 10.50 plus missing invoice from 17th December meeting £ 7.50
b) Mrs Y Fairman's salary for February 2008 £ 101
Mrs Y Fairman's expenses for the same period : internet access £5 and use of home and equipment for the same period £8

6. To hear a report from the Affordable Housing Working Party and to make any resolutions as a result of this.

7. To discuss the preliminary draft of the Conservation Plan for Holne and to consider inviting Mr McKay to the Annual Parish Meeting. An Open Day conducted by Mr McKay was being proposed for Friday 25th April.

8. To discuss correspondence received from Miles Fursdon in relation to New Bridge. Correspondence will be copied and sent to all Councillors.

9. Decision of the meeting at Dartmoor National Park.

10. Councillor Ross to discuss bridleways/obstruction at Great Combe.

11. Clerk’s or Councillors’ reports on matters authorised by the Council at previous meetings not otherwise on this Agenda
